At Summit Literacy, Rachel strongly advocates for personalised learning through one-on-one interactions. Through her experience in the teaching industry Rachel can provide individualised attention and cater to the specific needs of each student. However, Rachel does recognise that for some, virtual learning may be a more favourable option. As a flexible and adaptable educator, I am more than willing to accommodate different learning preferences by offering online learning opportunities as well. Neuro Diverse Learners
As an experienced professional, Rachel has honed her skills in working with neuro-diverse learners and is well-equipped to cater to their unique needs. She has an extensive background in working with neuro-diverse students in both mainstream and special education settings, providing her with a deep understanding of their challenges and requirements.

Our Process model
1. Meet & Greet
At Summit Literacy, I prioritise meeting the needs of my valued clients. To ensure this, I begin by organising a professional meet and greet session, which allows me to gain knowledge of the specific needs and wants of both the parents and the student. By combining this information with the results of the assessments, I can then tailor my teaching to best meet the learning needs of the student.
2. Assessment
As a highly skilled educator, I understand the importance of personalised education for students. With my comprehensive knowledge of assessment tools, I can customise lesson plans to address the unique needs of each individual. Along with regular monitoring and timely assessment, this continuous and individualised approach ensures that each student will progress at a pace that is appropriate and beneficial for them.
3. Stage & Level
Based on the gathering and analysis of assessment data, Rachel, will utilise this information to make a well-informed decision on the optimal stage and level for the student's placement. This critical step will set the foundation for determining the duration of the sessions and the specific learning objectives that will be covered. With Rachel's extensive knowledge and expertise, the student's learning journey will be tailored to their individual needs.
4. Implement & Support
After completing all necessary preparations and planning, we are ready to move onto the teaching and learning phase. The duration of each session will vary based on the age, stage, and level of the students. For the younger students, the sessions will typically be around 30-45 minutes, while the older students can expect a longer duration of up to 60 minutes. Our focus will be on delivering effective instruction, tailored to meet the specific needs of each student. By implementing a structured and organised approach to teaching and learning, we aim to create a productive and engaging learning environment for all clients, no matter their age.
